JCP Life!

BUILD A TEAM SO STRONG YOU DON’T KNOW WHO THE BOSS IS.

We spend most our time during the week at work, so it’s important to not only love what we do but love where we do it. Here at Joseph Chris Partners, we try to strike a balance between production and fun, and we realize that we all do our jobs that much better when we work, and play, as a team.

Hula hoop contests are common when we need a break. So is axe throwing (with plastic axes), a lively game of darts or cornhole, and in-office personal training sessions. Our producers treated our admin team to lunch and car washes to show appreciation for all they do. We dress up and share homemade goodies for holiday parties, we compete in weekly trivia contests, we host celebrations for life events like weddings, graduations, babies, and we pick each other up when we face life’s challenges.

  • We are active in our community, from supporting local Veterans at Camp Hope, collecting items to donate to local animal shelters, and honoring and appreciating our local law enforcement officers by delivering baskets of goodies to them on the job. For several years before COVID, we hosted Turn Kings Harbor Blue so the community could come out and thank our men and women in blue in person for all they do.

As part of our 40th-year celebration in 2017, we partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help build a home, and many of our team members got out there in the Houston heat and worked as a team putting up sheetrock and insulation, something most of us had never done before.

And luckily none of our team members were personally affected by the massive flooding that devastated our area by Hurricane Harvey, but all of us rolled up our sleeves, put on our gloves and masks, and got to work helping our neighbors who were.

And that’s exactly why so many of us love working at Joseph Chris Partners.
