Luke Hill was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Born into a family with a legacy of military service dating back to the American Revolutionary War, he joined the Marine Corps after high school. Luke served as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Specialist in multiple locations around the world. Luke achieved the rank of Corporal, and as a noncommissioned officer, learned the leadership and mentoring skills that he has carried into his civilian career.
Following his honorable discharge, Luke returned home to Houston and became a recruiter for an apprenticeship program focused on the construction skilled trades, eventually becoming the Lead Recruiter for the firm. In that role, Luke led and mentored a team of Recruiters, resulting in the successful placement of over 200 Veterans in craft trades during his tenure.
When Luke joined Joseph Chris Partners in 2020, he wanted to create a service for Veterans that would allow him to blend his passion for recruiting and his mission for helping Veterans find their own fulfilling post-military careers. As Director of JCP’s Veteran Talent Services (VTS), Luke has a platform to carry that mission even further and help even more Veterans given the company’s national reach and vast network of client companies in the construction industry.
